Downloading and installing Scaura apps

Scaura is available for multiple platforms. Make sure to download Scaura for your desktop and mobile devices, so you can have your content available whenever you need it!

Desktop apps

Windows

Technical requirements

Scaura for Windows is available for 64-bit machines running Windows 7 or above.

How to download and install

Important: You’ll need admin rights to install Scaura or any application on your computer. 
If you don’t have admin rights on your corporate computer, please contact your IT support for help.

  1. Using a Windows computer, download the app from app.scaura.com.

  2. Double-click the downloaded (.exe) file from your downloads folder to install Scaura. Scaura will launch automatically once installed.

Once you've installed the app, you can double-click the Scaura icon the next time you need to launch it.

Tip: Add a shortcut to your desktop

For Windows 7 and 8, click the Start menu, find Scaura, right-click on the file and click Create Shortcut. For Windows 10, find Scaura in your Start menu and drag it to your desktop. 

Open Scaura in full screen

Click Shift + F11 to open Scaura app in full screen. Click it again to exit full screen mode.


Mac

Technical requirements

Scaura for Mac is available for machines running Os X 10.9 and above.

Running an earlier version?  

To provide a better Scaura experience, we can no longer support older Mac OSes. For info on upgrading your OS, see Apple's guide to upgrading.

How to install

Important: You’ll need admin rights to install Scaura or any application on your computer. 
If you don’t have admin rights on your corporate computer, please contact your IT support for help.
  1. Using a Mac computer, download the app from app.scaura.com.
  2. Double-click the downloaded (.dmg) file from your downloads folder. Drag and drop the Scaura icon into the applications folder to install it.

Make sure it is allowed to download apps from identified developers on you Mac before downloading the Scaura app. Please follow these steps to modify the security setting.

  1. Go to System preferences;
  2. Select security & privacy;
  3. Select general tab;
  4. In Allow apps downloaded from, click App store and identified developers;
  5. Save settings

Once you've installed the app, you can double-click the Scaura icon on your applications folder the next time you need to launch it.

Tip: Add Scaura to your dock

Once Scaura is running, you can choose to keep it in your dock. Just right-click the Scaura icon, click Options and then click Keep in Dock.

iOS

Scaura is available for iPhones and iPads and lets you access, search and share content.

Technical requirements

Scaura for iOS is available for devices running iOS 10 and above.

Running an earlier version?  

To provide a better Scaura experience, we can no longer support older iOS versions. If you are not able to upgrade your iOS and still need to use Scaura, contact us at support@scaura.com.

  2. Tap the Get button. 
  3. Tap Open to launch Scaura. If you’ve exited the App Store, find the Scaura icon and tap it to launch the app.

Android

Scaura is available for Android phones and tablets and lets you access, search and share content.

Technical requirements

Scaura for Android is available for devices running Android 5.1 and above.

How to install

  1. Find Scaura on Google Play.
  2. Tap the Install button.
  3. Tap Open to launch Scaura. If you’ve exited Google Play, find the Scaura icon and tap it to launch the app.

Web

You can also connect to Scaura from the web on your desktop anytime at app.scaura.com/webapp.

Make sure you're using one of these supported browsers: Chrome (recommended), Internet Explorer 11, Safari or Edge.
